Derelict is produced by North West performance company Angel Club (north). The original programme was solely funded by a grant from UCLan’s Contemporary Arts Development Group (Cadg). The Derelict programme has been developed out of an old platform of the same name that the university hosted at it’s old centre of arts between 2003 and 2008. Originally named after the rundown neo-classical building that hosted it, the original platform supported a plethora of emergent artists and gave crucial support to a wide range of emergent artists in the North-West of England.
Our programme aims to engage new, local and regional audiences, inviting fresh perspectives on ‘what performance can be’ whilst allowing them to view Preston through a new and alternative cultural lens
