PANIC ON THE STREETS OF PRESTON.
Calling all Miserable Prestonians!
We need you to join us ‘The Morrissey Dancers’ to celebrate our northern humdrum town at this years ‘Derelict Summers’ a festival of immersive performance across Preston between Thursday 29th June - Sunday 2nd July.
On Saturday 1st July, we will be invading the Flag Market and several other locations around the centre dressed as Morrissey, Morris dancing to the sound of The Smiths.
According to a recent article in The Independent, Preston is the 4th unhappiest place to live in the UK. We are keen to combine Morrissey’s northern gloom with up-lifting Morris Dancing, bringing the community together to celebrate our Northern City.
If you would like to raise your knees and wave your gladioli then join us as we Morris Dance in the style of Morrissey.
