The world has ended, the world as we know it at least.
Using recycled languages from disaster cinema, climate politics, folk stories and King Lear, Search Party prepare for a STORM that is already here. STORM explores climate grief, the uncanny feeling of being alive in a climate catastrophe, and despair at years of knowing and not doing. As the IPCC warn of just 12 years to avert climate disaster, Search Party perform 12 duets at the end of the world. It’s a sea of troubles. It’s a call to arms. It’s a great big unfathomable inevitability. It’s this dreadful pother o’er our heads.
